Hey - we are happy to welcome you here. This is the info page for the CouchDB Day 2015 in Hamburg, Germany.
The CouchDB Day is an event to bring together people interested in CouchDB. The idea is to work with or on CouchDB. So either you are interested to contribute to the Open Source project Apache CouchDB, or you want to create awesome applications based on CouchDB, this event is for you. There will be a small amount of talks. But most of the time, we want you to get your hands on CouchDB and create awesome stuff.
Our friends from the Nodeschool Hamburg are organizing a Nodeschool on the Sunday after the event for everyone interested in learning JavaScript and Node.js! Tickets are free!
We want that this event is a safe and welcoming place for everyone. By attending the event you agree to follow our Code of Conduct. CouchDB Day is dedicated to a harassment-free experience for everyone. Our anti-harassment policy can be found at http://day.couchdb.org/anti-harassment.html

"A Database for the Web - CouchDB is a database that completely embraces the web. Store your data with JSON documents. Access your documents and query your indexes with your web browser, via HTTP. Index, combine, and transform your documents with JavaScript. CouchDB works well with modern web and mobile apps. You can even serve web apps directly out of CouchDB. And you can distribute your data, or your apps, efficiently using CouchDB’s incremental replication. CouchDB supports master-master setups with automatic conflict detection."
